Who we are.
Chassie Bookkeeping is led by Michelle Chassie, who has run businesses, managed payroll and operations, and made the same cash decisions our clients make. That is why we read your numbers the way an owner would, not just as entries to record.
She started the firm in 2021 to give owners bookkeeping that is steady, complete and on time. Today our team works with owners across Canada, to the standards she set from the start.
You will always know who to reach. We keep our requests short, and we reply within one to two business days, not counting weekends and holidays. If we spot something that needs your attention, we tell you plainly.

"October is done. Sales were up about 8% on September, and fuel was your biggest cost increase. Your GST return is filed and every due date is met. Two things I need from you: the receipt for the $412 supplier payment on the 14th, and the lender for the new truck loan. Next month, let's talk about setting money aside for your tax instalment."
A short note like this comes with your monthly reports. This one is an example, and the numbers are made up.
How it has gone for others
One client came to us with a USB stick of reports and one old trial balance. That was all they had. We set them up on QuickBooks Online and built their books from the trial balance and their digital records, including several year-ends, catch-up and sales tax remittances. Today they run on clear systems, and their records are paperless, searchable and easy to reach from anywhere.
Another client was three years behind. They were fully current in two months.
